Vicksburg, MS

Maybe the highlight of the trip was my last stop on the way home: the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory as I was leaving Vicksburg... I ended up with 3 dozen truffles - so that should keep me happy for awhile. Vicksburg's USS Cairo Gunboat & Museum were still closed presumably for Covid - big disappointment. I didn't bother with anything else on my way home except the Coca Cola Museum. It included an old soda shop room - as it might have been generations ago. Overall, it was a bit less than expected - thousands of Coke collectibles, most quite old. But, at only $3.50 admission, still well worthwhile.

Museum of Coca Cola
Interesting collection of Coca Cola memorabilia spanning many years is very interesting. They also have a room set up as an old fashioned soda shop would have been - that was interesting, as well. There isn't a whole lot, but for $3.50 admission it is well worthwhile.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

I rarely am in an area with a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory... When I am, I take advantage! While passing through Vicksburg I stopped here and got a supply of 3 dozen Truffles! Pricey? A little - but you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to really good chocolate. Their "Buy 5 Get 1 Free" policy helps out, too. And these truffles are so big! And so delicious! And so rich!
